This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Gadura platform, tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Roles

Depending on the context, Gadura acts as:

  • Controller — for account administration, billing, support, product improvement, platform security, and compliance.
  • Processor — when we process End User data on behalf of Creators (see our Data Processing Addendum).

2. Information We Collect

You provide to us:

  • account registration details and profile settings;
  • content you upload or create;
  • recipient lists and contact details you import or create;
  • messages you send to support.

We collect automatically:

  • usage data and logs;
  • device/browser information;
  • cookies and similar technologies.

Payments:

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. We do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • operate and deliver the Services;
  • authenticate users and administer accounts;
  • process billing and subscriptions;
  • provide support;
  • secure the platform and prevent abuse;
  • improve features and performance;
  • send service communications and notices;
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

We rely on:

  • contract necessity,
  • legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention),
  • consent (where required),
  • legal obligations.

5. Email Sending

We process recipient, bounce, complaint, and suppression data to protect deliverability and enforce our Anti-Spam rules.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for sessions, preferences, analytics, and security. You can control cookies in your browser. More details appear in our Cookie Policy.

7. Sharing

We may share information with service providers, subprocessors, payment providers, professional advisers, regulators where legally required, and in corporate transactions — with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

8. International Transfers

We may process data globally. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (see our DPA, including EU SCCs/UK Addendum where applicable).

9. Retention

We retain personal data as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. After account termination, certain data may be retained for up to 60 days to allow export or reactivation, and longer where required by law.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and users should maintain backups of important data.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or to withdraw consent (where applicable).

Where End Users contact us directly, we may refer them to the Creator, who is the primary controller, while we assist as required under the DPA.

12. Children

Gadura is not intended for children under 13 (or higher age where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect data from children in violation of law.

13. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will provide notice.
