Website Builder: The Complete Reference

Where

Create → Website. From there: Themes, Pages, Site Settings, and Publish or Unpublish for the whole site.

Themes

Minimalist, Earth, Chalk, Gallery, Forge, Bloom and Ola's Kitchen, plus Blank Canvas for building from scratch. Preview a theme, then press Use theme: it sets up your Home, About, Services, Pricing, Contact, Terms and Privacy pages with its designs, saving your current versions to each page's history first. Customise adjusts the theme's colours, typography, buttons, and layout and spacing, with a preview beside the settings.

Pages

New page creates one; each page has a title and a slug. From the list you can preview, rename, delete, duplicate content through templates (Import template, Export → Save to My Templates), and move a page up or down in the navigation. Manage Posts opens the journal.

The builder

Blocks on the left, the page in the centre, block settings on the right. Undo and redo. Publish when ready.

Colours

Customise → Colours decides where the site's colours come from: your brand (the usual choice), the theme's own colours, or this site's own. Every block follows them. To give one part of a block its own colour, open the block's Visuals → Colours; Back to theme colour returns it to the site's colours.

Header and navigation

The Header panel sets the site name, tagline and logo, the layout on laptops and phones, colours, height, Menu text, whether the header stays at the top or is see-through over the Hero, a bottom line in the text colour, and a Log in link for your members. Its Menu row holds your pages, drop-downs and links to an address, and an optional header button such as Book a call.

SEO

Site defaults live under Site Settings; each page has its own SEO settings for title and description.

Site Settings

• Domain: connect your own domain.
• Branding: logo (PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG up to 2 MB) and favicon (PNG or ICO up to 500 KB).
• SEO Defaults: the site description and defaults for pages.
• System Pages: the pages Gadura provides, such as sign-in.

Forms

Form, opt-in and newsletter blocks create contacts with the page's tag, feed Form Analytics under Insights, and can start Automations.

Publishing

Publish makes changes live within seconds. Unpublish takes the whole site down to a placeholder.
