What is the difference between an offer and a product?
Updated 5 September 2026
Products are what you deliver
- A course, built in Create → Course Studio.
- A community, built in Create → Spheres.
Files you want to hand over, such as a guide or a template, live inside a course as lesson attachments.
Offers are how you sell them
Offers, under Sell → Offers & Checkout, package products with a price and terms:
- pricing tiers: one-time, monthly, yearly, payment plans, pay what you want, or free;
- what each tier unlocks;
- the checkout page: testimonials, FAQs, coupons, order bumps, an upsell.
An example
Your products: the "Social Media Mastery" course and the "Creators Club" community.
- Offer one: the course alone, one-time.
- Offer two: course plus community, one-time at a higher price.
- Offer three: the community alone, monthly.
Same products, three offers.
Why it matters
You can sell the same thing several ways, test prices, build upgrade paths, and give different audiences different doors, without duplicating the product.
