How do affiliate links work?

When someone arrives through a partner's link, Gadura records the click and attributes what follows to that partner.
Link format
https://your-site.gadura.site/?ref=partner-code, or the same on your own domain.
The cookie window
The link sets a cookie on your site for the cookie window you chose in the programme settings. A purchase within that window is attributed to the partner.
What is tracked
| Event | What it means |
|---|---|
| Click | Someone opened your site through the link |
| Sign-up | They created an account or joined your list |
| Sale | They bought; the commission is calculated at your rate, in the sale's currency |
| Renewal | Recurring commission accrues for the months you set |
| Refund | The commission is reversed |
Paying partners
Gadura calculates what each partner has earned, per currency, and shows it on the Affiliates page. Paying them is between you and your partner; the CSV export gives you the figures.
