Creating Your First Course
Updated 5 September 2026
Plan it
Who is it for, what problem does it solve, and what will they be able to do at the end? A short course that delivers one outcome beats a long one that delivers vaguely.
Create it
- Go to Create → Course Studio and choose New Studio.
- Under Settings → General, give it a title, a description, a URL slug, an estimated duration, a cover image and a thumbnail.
- Build the curriculum: add a Module, then lessons inside it.
Lesson types
Text, video, audio, image, PDF, file download, embed (YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Spotify or any embeddable player), quiz, and assignment.
Settings that matter
- Drip: release modules immediately, a number of days after enrolment, on a set date, or after the previous module.
- Features: completion certificates and lesson discussions.
- Landing: what students will learn, and FAQs for the sales page.
- Pricing: courses are sold through offers under Sell → Offers & Checkout; the Pricing tab shows the linked offer, or that students enrol free.
Publish
Set the status to Published when you are ready. Preview and View as student show exactly what learners will see.
Tips
Give a quick win in the first lesson, mix lesson types, add a quiz where it helps, and revise from what students ask.
