Understanding Payments
Updated 5 September 2026
How money flows
- Your customer pays on your checkout page.
- Stripe processes the payment on your own Stripe account.
- Gadura records the sale, grants access and sends the emails.
- Stripe pays your bank on its payout schedule.
Money never passes through Gadura.
Fees
- Gadura: no cut of your sales on any plan. You pay your plan, nothing per sale.
- Stripe: its standard processing fee per payment, which varies by country and card. In the United States that is around 2.9 percent plus a small fixed amount.
Payouts
Stripe pays out automatically. New accounts wait longer for the first payout while Stripe verifies them; after that, payouts usually arrive within a few days depending on your country. Your payout schedule is set in your Stripe dashboard.
Seeing your sales
Insights → Sales lists every transaction, filtered by all, completed, pending or refunded, in the currency it was paid in.
Currencies
Price each tier in the currency you choose. Stripe converts to your bank's currency at payout where needed.
Refunds
Issue refunds from your Stripe dashboard, in full or in part. They appear in Insights → Sales, and the buyer usually sees the money within five to ten business days. Stripe does not return its processing fee on a refund.
