How do I create a service?
Updated 6 September 2026
Go to Bookings → Services → New service. A new service starts as a draft. Set it to Live when it is ready, because only live services can be booked.
What a service holds
- Name and description: what the customer is booking.
- How it happens: a video call, a phone call, in person at one of your places, or other. In-person services can only be booked while that place is open.
- How long it takes: the appointment length.
- Price: free or paid. A paid price is recorded on each booking. Payment is not collected at booking yet.
- Delivered by: anyone on the team who is free, or specific people. When more than one person can deliver it, bookings go to whoever is available, shared fairly across the team.
- What it needs: rooms or items from Resources, so two appointments never claim the same one.
Booking rules
Each service carries its own rules:
- Minimum notice (hours): how close to the start a time can still be booked.
- How far ahead (days): the furthest date offered.
- Offer start times every: how often a start time is offered.
- Breathing room before and after: gaps kept clear around each appointment. They must fit inside opening hours.
- Daily limit: the most appointments of this service in one day, or no limit.
