  1. Analytics: The Complete ReferenceThe report, Funnel Conversions, Form Analytics, Sales, and where other numbers live

Quick answers

Understanding the Analytics Report

Insights → Analytics opens your Analytics Report: your business at a glance for the period you choose, compared with the previous period.

What is on it

  • Total Revenue, with the revenue trend and a breakdown, in each currency you sell in.
  • Subscribers, Memberships and Courses.
  • Studio Performance and your best performing course.
  • Traffic Sources.
  • Insights: suggested moves such as converting subscribers or diversifying revenue.

Compare shows the change against the previous period. Print and Export take the report with you.

Deeper pages

Funnel Conversions and Form Analytics open from the report. Every transaction is under Insights → Sales.

What numbers should I be tracking?

The essentials

  • Revenue: Insights → Analytics, in each currency, and every transaction under Insights → Sales.
  • Subscribers: the Contacts count against your plan.
  • Conversion: Funnel Conversions and Form Analytics under Insights.
  • Email engagement: opens and clicks in Email Studio → Analytics.
  • Course completion: each course's Analytics panel.

What good looks like

Email opens 20 to 25 percent, clicks 2 to 5 percent; opt-in pages 20 to 40 percent; sales pages 1 to 5 percent; course completion above 30 percent is strong.

By stage

Starting: list growth and the first sale. Growing: conversion and engagement. Scaling: recurring revenue and retention.

Form Analytics

Insights → Analytics → Form Analytics: leads, new leads, converted, conversion rate, lead sources, device breakdown, the capture trend, leads by funnel, recent leads and locations.

Use it to see which pages and sources bring leads that convert, and which devices struggle with your forms.

Tracking Funnel Conversions

Insights → Analytics → Funnel Conversions.

The numbers

Total views, total conversions, average conversion rate and total revenue for the period; the conversion trend over time; results by funnel type; and a card per funnel with status, conversion rate, views, conversions and revenue. Filter by all, live or draft. Choose seven, thirty or ninety days.

What counts

Revenue here is attributed to funnels. Insights → Sales holds every transaction, so the two differ when sales happen outside a funnel or are refunded.

Improving

Few leads from many views: headline and form. Leads without sales: the offer and the emails. Change one thing, then compare periods.

Understanding Revenue Numbers

Where revenue lives

  • Insights → Analytics: total revenue for the period, the trend, the breakdown by product, and the change against the previous period, kept in each currency you sell in.
  • Insights → Sales: every transaction, completed, pending or refunded.
  • Gadura Rewards → Milestones: revenue actually received, settled in your payout currency, for the Rose Gold path.

Why the numbers can differ

Analytics counts completed sales in the currency paid. Your bank shows what Stripe paid out, after its fees and after refunds, converted to your bank's currency. Funnel revenue counts only sales attributed to a funnel.

Useful arithmetic

Revenue is visitors, times the share who buy, times what they spend. To grow it, improve one of the three.
